As Tashan quoted in his session, a staggering 94% of SMBs have experienced at least one cybersecurity attack, a notable increase from 64% in 2019. Furthermore, 89% of SMBs express concern about being targeted in the near future, with UK small businesses facing approximately 65,000 cyber-attacks daily, resulting in a successful breach every 19 seconds. The Event emphasised the importance of data protection and business continuity, highlighting the significant costs associated with downtime and data breaches. A clear message that businesses should move from merely backing up data to ensuring comprehensive business continuity strategies
Businesses are facing increasing concerns about cybersecurity, with a rise in ransomware attacks and data breaches. The morning Session highlighted the benefits and Microsoft’s different plans, with Business Premium providing comprehensive security and management tools. Features include Microsoft Entra ID, MFA, mobile device management with Intune, and endpoint security with Defender. Businesses can protect against phishing attacks with Defender for Office 365 and safeguard data with Purview DLP. Copilot for Microsoft 365 helps businesses simplify their tech stack and protect sensitive data, ensuring productivity and security.
